Anyone getting married and wanting fabulous photographs to remember the occasion by should call Mari and Henning of Duette Photography. I live in Cape Town and my wedding was in Tzaneen (the two towns are about 1800km apart) and had to cross my fingers and hire a photographer over the phone. I searched more websites than I can remember and from that, chose numerous photographers to interview over the phone. After I spoke with Mari, I didn't even call the few photographers remaining on my list. Mari's enthusiasm won me over.
I can say that aside from the wonderful photographs (which are expected from a professional photographer), Mari and Henning made the day better. We were technically delayed by about one and a half hours with the commencement of our wedding, and Mari and Henning went out of their way to encourage us that everything will be okay. Mari helped my wife with the dressing and my wife is full of praises for you Mari. On the other hand, Henning gave me some suggestions while dressing up .... and oh, I had brought a wider belt and could not fit on my wedding pants, and Henning offered me his belt which was quite extra-ordinary.
Mari and Henning's professionalism really shows in the photographs. They put us at ease and made it fun and really seemed to share in our joy. They were never without a smile on their face. They suggested several photos that I was sceptical about how they would come out, but those turned out to be one of our favourites.
I am sure you hear this from every client, but our wedding pictures were more beautiful than I ever could have hoped for. You captured all the important moments in a way that was timeless and yet unexpected - so many wedding photos end up looking exactly the same but with different main characters! Your really got "us" (not to mention our families and friends) at our best that day.
Most importantly, my wife and I feel like we have a better sense of what the wedding was like, as a whole, after looking at the photographs. I would hire Duette Photography again in a heartbeat and I strongly recommend them without question. Now we can be reminded of the spirit and happiness of the occasion any time we want .... so thank you!
Mari and Henning, we have enjoyed every minute of working with you. We cannot imagine anyone more professional and we are truly grateful for such personal service. You captured so many fleeting moments so perfectly. The results of your efforts are spectacular and we cannot recommend you high enough.

Both of you captured so muc...h and each picture speak for themselves and definitely reflects our personalities and our love for each other so well. You have made the pictures so real,.the laughs, the smiles, the fun, the romance, the friends, the family, the charm, the enchantment, the atmosphere, the love …simply everything that is important to us. ! While looking at them it feels as if we are at the wedding all over again!

We had the most memorable wedding day, thanks to the photos that tells of the story of our wedding. Mari and Henning of Duette Photography really put in their all to give us the best photos ever. From the planning of the big day Mari made sure that she’s got all information on how the day is going to be like and giving a lot of creative input on what can be done during photo shooting session. I’ve never seen so much professionalism on such a hectic day. Mari and Henning went all out to capture the wedding and more. People are talking about our pictures as if they saw them in a bridal magazine. The photos are more than beautiful. Just reading all the comments on your work we realised that we had more than the best capturing our special day. The only way we will remember our special day is by looking at the incredible photo's that you both put so much effort into. You made us feel as though you have known us all our lives and you made us feel very special. What you did for us on that day, we will never forget because we will have a constant reminder every time we open up our wedding album in the future and look at our stunning photo's that you both captured of us, although we have only seen 20 of our awesome photo's, which you put on your website, and if that is the quality that you produce, then we can't wait to see all the rest. We had so much fun and laughs with our photoshoot, we will remember it for a lifetime. Beste Mari en HenningOns kan net weereens baie dankie se vir ons pragtige trou foto’s. Julle het regtig gemaak dat daai dag vir altyd ten volle onthou word. Toe ek my cd vir my skoonsus wys wat verlede jaar Desember getroud is, was haar eerste reaksie as ek een ding kan oor kies is dit beslis die fotograaf. Dankie julle is voorwaar die beste en sal julle enige tyd vir iemand aanbeveel.Hier is ons lysie. Jammer dit het so lank gevat, mar om ‘n keuse tussen al die foto’s te maak is/was glad nie maklik nie.Lekker werk – julle seker al klaar baie besig met al die somer troues. Liefste Mari & Henning,
Einde 2008 het ek ‘n “flyer” in ons posbus gekry. Op die “flyer” was ‘n foto van ‘n ring op die strand waarop ek absoluut versot was… Die “flyer” het op die dashboard van my kar saamgery vir meer as ‘n jaar en ‘n half, want dìt was hoe my trou-ring eendag moes lyk. En toe Jaco my begin 2010 vra om te trou, het die ring op die foto glad nie meer saakgemaak nie, en was die ring wat hy aan my vinger gesteek het die mees perfekste waarvan ek ooit kon droom. Maar, ons het ‘n datum gehad,ons het ‘n venue gehad, ons het als gehad net nie ‘n fotograaf waarmee ek tevrede was om te vertrou met hierdie belangrike deel van ons dag nie… En toe onthou ek van die “flyer” wat steeds op my Golfie se “dashboard” lê… Ekt gebel en ‘n baie oulike vrou het geantwoord, na ek jul eendag vlugtig in die Wimpy op Potties vir koffie ontmoet het, was ek tevrede en het daai aand geweet, ekt my fotograwe gekry…
Henning en Mari, julle is 2 besonderse mense, ek dank vandag nog my sterre vir daai eenvoudige “flyer” wat vir 2 jaar saam my in my karretjie rondgery het en die 2 wonderlikste mense oor my pad gebring het. Ongelooflik baie dankie vir al jul moeite met my en Jaco se groot dag. Dankie vir al die geduld met vrae en onsekerhede voor die troue, en dankie dat julle ons dag so onvergeetlik gemaak het, en elke oomblik wat belangrik is vir herinnering vasgevang het op ‘n foto. Dis nie aldag wat mens gebless word met ‘n goue begin nie, en julle is een van die groot bydraes tot ons ‘goue-begin’. Ons weet ons sal oor 50 jaar van nou af, steeds kan terugkyk en met elke foto kan glimlag oor die wonderlike herinneringe wat dit mee bring – en dis als te danke aan jul. Ek sê vir julle 2 mensies uit my hart uit ongelooflik baie dankie.
